What?

HELLO & WELCOME :]

My name is Crystal.

If you know me, you'd know I've always had a heart for the poor.

Whenever I see a homeless person or photos of hungry children, my heart breaks for them.

I wanted to do something about it, but things would always keep me from taking action.

Fear. Doubt. Laziness. Procrastination.

I would always put it aside and just did the minimal, but I would never be fully satisfied.

I felt I should be and could be doing more.

I'm a graphic designer and love using the talent God has so graciously blessed me with

to help others. I am my own worst critic, but I thank God for those who encourage

and support my work :]

Recently, God has placed a situation in my life that would call me back to Him.

I've been distant from Him for awhile without even knowing it.

But God being who He is, knows all and does what He needs to do to get my attention.

Chris Tomlin's "Come Home Running" describes it perfectly.

Oh heart of mine, why must you stray?

From one so fair you run away

And one more time you have to pay

The heaviness of needless shame

Oh heart of mine, come back home

You've been too long out on your own

And He's been there all along

Watching for you down the road

So come home running

His arms are open wide

His name is Jesus

He understands

He is the answer

You are looking for

So come home running

Just as you are

Oh child of God so dearly loved

And ransomed by the Savior's blood

And called by name, daughter and son

Wrapped in the robe of righteousness

Through this situation, I have been doing daily Quiet Times and really trying to listen to what God

wants me to do in life. One of Rick Warren's devotional topic was "Don't Let Limitations Limit Vision".

He states that, "the unpleasant obstacles in your life are often God-ordained opportunities to make

a difference." That nothing in life is accidental and is all in God's plan to use for His purpose.

He wants us to hand everything over and trust in Him.

The next day's topic was "Do Something About That".

Rick Warren asked to discover what really stirs my heart and to do something about it.

That's when I knew, I had to do something. God's been sending signals left and right

and I've been avoiding it, but through prayerful thinking, I have found the strength to finally take action.

I want to sell shirts and donate all the profits to an organization called World Vision.

Based on this verse,

"For I was hungry and you gave me food,

I was thirsty and you gave me drink,

I was a stranger and you welcomed me,

I was naked and you clothed me,

I was sick and you visited me,

I was in prison and you came to me."

-Matthew 25: 35-36

God willing, I'd like to donate to the following areas:

FOOD + WATER

CLOTHING

SHELTER

MEDICAL CARE

I don't know how long this personal project will last, but as long as someone's life has been touched

by the love of God through any amount of profit made, He will still be glorified.

I thank you all for taking the time to read this and participating!

I pray that God bless you all greatly!

Soli Deo Gloria.

Love,

Crystal Hill a.k.a CHILL
